For 3 years, ARM has been providing for the neediest in Vanadzor with their Winter Relief Program.  The ARM Medical Clinic staff help identify which individuals and families are most in need of aid.  Late in the Fall, staff members of the ARM Medical Clinic, with help from a local church, load up a huge truck with stacks of firewood, sacks of potatoes, cooking oil, sugar, and other supplies for the winter.  The truck heads into the neighborhoods to distribute the food and firewood, and even makes “house calls” for those unable to make it to the center of town.  Just $45 covers the expenses for an entire family’s provision of firewood and potatoes that lasts the winter.  Without the firewood and extra food, some of these families would surely not make it through the winter.
